YARN CHARACTERISTICS
Neighborhood Fiber Company's Studio Sock is an 8-ply, 100% wool fingering weight yarn. Its 8 plies add the strength needed to withstand the wear and tear of socks. If substituting yarn select one with a blend of wool and nylon or 8 plies to make your socks last.
GAUGE
36 sts x 48 rnds = 4 inches/ 10 cm in stockinette stitch in the round blocked.
To extend the life of your socks this is a tight gauge not typical to most socks.
SUGGESTED NEEDLES
1 US 1/ 2.25 mm circular needle, 40 inches/ 100 cm or size required to meet gauge.
